Moss Will be Growing in Lambeau Once Again

I have just heard from my contact in Boston and great news for Viking fans - it sounds like the report that foxsports.com and ESPN have been talking about tonight with Moss being traded to the Vikings is a done deal.

There are still sticking points that need to be ironed out, but Randy Moss should be at Winter Park by the end of the week.

The Pats seem to be comfortable with Wes Welker's health and the progression of their wide receiving core. How could they trade a guy like Moss? Well, they won s Super Bowls before him, and none with him. The Patriots seem to think that getting more building blocks for the future is More important than one player, which they have shown more than one time in the past.

What the Patriots want in the end is yet to be known, but I am hearing perhaps two second round picks and a later pick could land Moss back where he started his Hall of Fame bound career.

Brett Favre may be the happiest person with these rumors floating around, he made it no secret three years ago he would love to have Moss in Green Bay. Well, it sounds like he will be getting his wish now, just in time for the Vikings to turn their season around.

NFL Update

I have never been an Eli Manning fan. In fact, I think he might be the most overated player in the NFL. He won a Super Bowl thanks to the best highlight catch ever in the Super Bowl and all of the sudden he was a star. He was nothing. Trent Dilfer could have QB'd that offense better, and he is unanimously the worst QB to ever win a Super Bowl. Sorry, but Eli Manning has never shown me anything. If you want proof, just look at his QB Rating. It has never been anywhere near what Jeff Garcia has done in multiple seasons. Eli rode an amazing defense and a lucky play to a big contract and a lot of fame.

That being said, look for the Giants to win against the Bears tonight on Sunday Night Football. The Bears are like Eli Manning. Lucky. They lost to the Lions. Period. the ruling on the field was crap for the Calvin Johnson catch, and everyone in the world knows it. The victory against the Packers was thanks to more penalties than Shawn Kemp has kids....named Shawn...which is also too high of a number. The fact is the Bears are just lucky right now.

My prediction for the NFC Central: Packers 12-4, Vikings 11-5, Bears 8-8, Lions 4-12.
